Client Expectation :

The client required a centralized gas detection and alarm system for a 2 multi-floor building with research labs on each floor. These labs contain gas lines that carry hazardous and toxic gases for isolated experiments. In addition to detecting leaks and generating alarms, the client requested the system to automatically shut off gas line valves in case of a leak or other emergency situations.

Project Highlights

300+ Gas Detectors

More than 300 gas detectors for varied Gas types very installed at multiple research labs and lobby’s.

60+ Pressure Transmitters

Over 60 pressure transmitters were installed for monitoring the gas levels in the supply cylinders.

Integration with BMS for
Civil Defense Notification

The system was integrated with the Building Management System (BMS) to enable automatic notification of emergency situations, specifically related to gas leak hazards, to the Civil Defense Department.

  • System installed and commissioned in 2 months.
  • 4 Zone Interface Panels (ZIPs) – one per floor.
  • 1 Main Interface Panel (MIP) in the security room.
  • Data communication via PROFINET network.
  • Alarm logs and gas valve auto shut-off integrated.
  • Linked with BMS for emergency alerts to Civil Defense.
  • Delivered with training and documentation.
  • Achieved full client satisfaction.
